Wander with Words
A group project during my MSc Product Design course exploring decentralised, mindful navigation of Dundee.
In an effort to bring the art of poetry to a wider audience through public space, we designed, built & implemented the window using near field communication (NFC) technology, audio recordings, neopixels & a raspberry pi to bring our giant "you are here" pin to life. Users would approach the window, scan the prompt using their phones NFC which would automatically open a soundcloud page, allowing the user to playback a portion of the poem.
In order to complete the poem, users would have to explore Dundee beyond the usual tourist spots and find more site specific windows.
